Through the mud and trees

Eight people became family 14 months ago,
and the new tradition of meeting on boxing day was continued.
We walked through the mud and trees, found tipi's made of logs, met friendly swans and wandered along a canal, before eating copious amounts of food, catching up on the year, swapping presents drinking wine and watching films.
I am becoming more and more cemented in my belief that family make somewhere home. That there is very little that comforts me, rests me and revives me like time spent in their presence.
a belated Merry Christmas to you all.
I've only got a week left of my time in England before I fly again, and excited doesn't even seem to cover it when I think of going back to the vineyard and all that is there...
